Works with Software developers, and DBAs to build consolidated data model and architect data migration solution –
• Understand source data and map them to business rules
• Prepare Logical data model and Physical data model.
• Manage metadata for data models
• Architecting the data migration solution focusing development of reusable components
• Analyze data migration requirements, source data, target data model
• Recommends the migration tools or recommendations for ensuring optimized performance for the migration process
• Design data migration strategy
• Oversee and guide the development, testing and cutover for data migration
• Facilitates incorporation of best practices and lessons learned from other engagements
• Oversee and guide the development, testing and cutover for data migration
• Participate in reviews and weekly meetings
