Job Description
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Design and develop a comprehensive data architecture, including logical and physical data models.
Select and implement appropriate data management technologies and tools.
Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity throughout the data lifecycle.
Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures.
Work with database administrators and developers to ensure the successful implementation of the data architecture.
Stay up-to-date on emerging data management trends and technologies.
Documentation of data architecture components and processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum 10+ years of experience in data architecture or a related field.
Proven experience in designing and implementing data models (logical and physical).
Experience with data management technologies (e.g., relational databases, data warehouses, data lakes).
Experience with SQL and knowledge of data modeling tools (e.g., Erwin Data Modeler, ER Studio).
Experience with implementing cloud-based data management solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). Snowflake and DBT project implementation experience is preferred.
Experience with data integration and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
Experience with data security best practices.
Experience working in an Agile development environment.
